Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Hey friends! I hope you’re having a great day 🙂
This is a post I’ve been wanting to write for quite some time now, but the other day one of my nutrition clients had a special request for healthy Trader Joe’s products, so it inspired me to go ahead and write about it today!
I shop at Trader Joe’s for about 80% of my groceries. For the other 20% it’s a mix of Sprouts, Target, and Whole Foods. About six months ago, I made this vlog of my favorite trader joe’s products, but I thought I’d make a specific post on my Trader Joe’s Healthy Grocery List 🙂
**NOT all healthy, but some good meal ideas!
I find TJ’s to be KING when it comes to healthy, convenient foods for busy professionals -and I’m nearly everyone who’s reading this likely fits those qualities. Trader Joe’s SAVES me when it comes to buying pre-cut/chopped/bagged/cooked healthy foods.
So, without further ado, here’s my Trader Joe’s Healthy Grocery List!

Now, I’m sure I forgot an item or two, so if I remember it, I’ll go back and edit it and re-upload. Also, I’d love to hear what’s on YOUR Trader Joe’s grocery list! I’m always game to try new foods 🙂
Where do you do your grocery shopping?
What are some of your Trader Joe’s favorites?
I LOVE TJs! I also find that it saves me a lot of money! Apparently we just got one in Grand Rapids a couple weeks before I moved here (is it fate?!) but it’s on the other side of town and not QUITE as convenient for me but I’m pretty sure it’ll be worth the savings…

TJs is my go-to for budget friendly organic greens, grass-fed ground beef, uncured hotdogs, plantain chips and canned tuna/salmon! I’m gonna have to try the mint salmon with risotto. Sounds amazing!
I enjoy shopping at TJ’s, but the closest one is over 2 hours away!!! 🙁
I see everyone’s yummy TJ items on IG and blogs (turkey/chicken burgers, frozen veggies/sides). Maybe its best I am not near one or I might live off their cookies and pumpkin bread!
Oh man, their cookies are dangerous! 😛
1st…I love your favorites and thanks for posting this. 🙂 I like a lot of things from TJs some include: the Coconut chips (in the grey-ish bag), Latin-Style Black Bean soup, Fire Roasted Salsa, Black Bean dip, and the steamed lentils too! If I want a good rich dark chocolate I get their dk chocolate bars that come 3 to a pack, with the red wrapping(it’s by the registers!)
Also, I saw you get the Broccoli Slaw, I do too, I have found that if I spray a pan with coconut oil put some slaw in and cover it for a while until it starts to soften/brown it comes out tasting like hash-browns to me! 🙂 It’s my new favorite thing at breakfast. 🙂
YES! I do the same thing with the broccoli slaw! I’ll have to try out the black bean soup and dip – they sound delicious!
Fun video and I really enjoyed all the items that you purchase, esp because I usually by-pass those items.
I really love TJ pre-packaged salads and their frozen broccoli is terrific. I also love their frozen tikka masala chicken .. goes great with that frozen naan !!
And of course, I have the Cookie Butter with the cocoa – which I spread on waffles for an evening snack.
Monica.
