Hey there!
I haven’t done a more personal post in a while, and thought about it yesterday as I was on my morning run, so I thought I’d do a day-in-the-life type of post today. I hope you enjoy! :-)(
4:30a – wake up to Shane’s alarm. He had to fly out to Vegas for the day for a meeting, and catch an early flight. As soon as he leaves the bed, I go right back to sleep.
5:45a – wake up again. I’m meeting Marissa at Mount Sanitas for a hike!
6:00a – Get a text from Marissa that she can’t make it. Boo. I decide to go for a trail run in my neighborhood instead! Woohoo!
6:15a – let Niko out, promote that day’s blog post, drink my lime + sea salt water. Change and go for a 45 minute run.
So pretty…except that weird look on my face lol
7:15a – make my post-workout cocktail of greens+, l-glutamine, & pomegranate Bai, because the only way I can drink greens powder is in a tart beverage.
7:30a – coffee + client email, respond to some blog peeps, etc., send out media kits, etc.
8:30a -make and eat breakfast + more coffee while watching CNN/HLN
1 egg + buncha egg whites + mushrooms + spinach + cheese + morning round + more coffee. I’m trying to be more on the up and up as far as world current events go. I can only take about 30 minutes of CNN a day, but it keeps me current, ya know? But let’s be honest – #kellyandmichaelforthewin
9:00a – write newsletter, work on e-guide that’s coming soon (!!!!)
10:30a – take Niko on a walk whilst listening to podcasts
I take Niko on our 20 minute loop 2-3 times a day – we both love it!
11:00a – start this blog post, start writing a new online client’s nutrition plan.
12:00p – shower (finally)
12:30p – make lunch, eat lunch, and watch a couple business videos online. I have a turkey, mustard, mayo, on a Dave’s Killer Million Dollar bun + grape tomatoes. Yummy!
1:00p -Continue working on said client’s nutrition plan
2:00p- pack up and head out for the day. I have some errands to run, some KIND bars to drop off, and then a hair appointment. I get a legit chop.
I feel like a brand new woman!
7:00p- Take Niko for another walk and shoot pictures for a sponsored workout/post for next week (it’s a good one!)
8:00p- make and eat dinner. Shane’s still not back from the airport and I don’t feel like being fancy. At all, lol
Broken down: pork tenderloin, because leftovers. Mac and cheese, because cravings. Cucumbers, because, let’s be honest, fill the veggie spot on the plate. All eaten while watching Veep (my newest favorite TV show!)
9:00p- Lenny and Larry cookie, then I head upstairs for some reading, and then bed (currently reading some Nelson Demile book on my Kindle, but I’m also reading Lena Dunham’s cook, which I love!) Get to sleep around 10 – gotta get to bed early! Thursdays I go straight from 7-1, then I have a volleyball game at 8 tonight.

I’m really enjoying Halt and Catch Fire. It’s also kind of fun to see all the 80’s clothes and hair.

Have you lsitened to the Podcast ‘Serial’ and then the follow-up to it, ‘Undisclosed: The State v. Adnan Syed’? I highly recommend.
