Some thoughts and discussions from me.

COMPLETE

Good morning, my friends! I hope you had a great weekend.

It has been raining cats and dogs here in Colorado, which is very uncharacteristic of the state, but I think it has *finally* cleared up. Thank goodness! I’m itching to get back to my trails when they dry up a bit.

Until then, I’ve been enjoying indoor workouts. Yesterday I had a fantastic lifting sesh – including a squat PR(!!!) – and the other day I did a quick ab circuit in my basement using just one piece of equipment – a medicine ball!

Here, a present for you 😉

I don’t know about you, but when I’m working out at home I like to use minimal equipment. A kettlebell. Some bands and a step. A medicine ball. It keep things quick, and when I’m working out at home, that’s typically a quality I like to include.

Right now, all of my fitness equipment is in the basement, so I’ve been tinkering with it down there. Over the next couple years, I’ll be working to build my home gym – but that it’s a big investment, so it’ll be done piece by piece. Until then, I’ll be just fine going to the gym – and using my limited equipment at home.

This workout focuses primarily on the core, but secondarily hits the upper body, along with little bursts of power throughout it. It’s 5 exercises done three times through, and I think you’ll be surprised how it leaves you feeling if you really push yourself!

As always, please consult with your physician before beginning any new diet or exercise program.

Here’s the graphic-form of the workout in case you’d like to save it to your phone or pin it for later!

Do you ever workout at home? If so, what type of equipment do you usually use?
