Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Happy Friday, friends
I know I’ve been keeping the Your Trainer Paige…page full of fitness and health information, tips, and workouts lately, but I thought today I’d take a time out from that and fill out a fun survey I’ve seen going around the interwebz lately (I think I first saw it on Christina’s blog.) Because, Friday.
1. What brings you the greatest joy? I’d have to say my family, laughing with friends ‘til we cry, my furbabies, and my mountains.
2. What are your vices? Lately? Peanut butter mnm’s. I finished off the ones Shane got me for Valentine’s Day…and then found green and red ones (from Christmas) even deeper in the freezer. Hold me back! Also, wine.
3. What is on your nightstand? A yellow flower in a vase and a picture of Shane and me. I hate clutter on furniture surfaces – and clutter in general!
4. Do you have a secret talent? I always feel so lame when this question is asked on surveys. No, I really don’t think I do.
5. What is your greatest indulgence? Going out for beers and burgers and fries – the whole gamut!
6. What should every woman try at least once in her life? Improving her health, confidence, and strength by lifting weights! Also, a pole dance/fitness class.
7. What makes you laugh? My husband. And this chick cracks me up all the time. And watching Family Guy.
8. What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you? I’m very much an introvert, and don’t thrive in big groups with lots and lots of people. It drains me of energy. But I hang with the best of ‘em in a smaller group!
9. What is on your bucket list? Welllll, about 25 things that are left on my 30 Before 30 list. Also, take a trip to South Africa. And it’s gonna happen!
10. What is on your feet right now? Socks that likely have holes in the bottoms.
12. What superstition do you believe in? I’m not very superstitious, but I swear that certain numbers follow me. I always see them!
13. What items in your closet do you wear the most? Yoga pants – all different styles of all different colors.
14. What is the best gift you’ve ever received? I’d have to say my mom’s China set. Or when my parents bought me a Rebel T3i camera! My mind was blown.
15. What is on your liquor shelf? Local Colorado gin and vodka, Chambord, and then a few bottles that never get touched.
16. What is on your kitchen counter? Again, not much into clutter – there’s the coffee maker, the spatula holder, soap/lotion, and a flower thingy. Tons of things on (my) counters makes my skin crawl!
17. What would you never leave home without? My phone. That’s about it…I can be pretty forgetful.
18. What movie has the greatest ending? Fight Club has a pretty damn good ending…and of course Pulp Fiction.
19. Who is on the guest list for your ideal dinner party? Are we talking people I know or celebs? I think Leo Dicaprio, Oprah, Aaron Paul, Kaley Cuoco, and Amy Poehler would provide a fabulously entertaining evening.
Ah, sure. I’d hang with him
20. What is one thing you wish you had known when you were younger? Life makes a whole lot more sense and it much much better when you stop trying to fit in.
Your turn: What is one thing you wish you had known when you were younger?
Love this 🙂 First off- you have a fantastic collection of workout clothes!! I need to improve mine. I don’t think I really have a “special” talent either. One thing I wish I had known when I was younger? To truly enjoy the lack of responsibility 🙂
Your kitchen is so clean and organized! Mine has stuff everywhere!! haha

One thing I wish I had known when I was younger? That my metabolism would not always be a monster, and that oreos are not acceptable breakfast.

I wish I knew that I shouldn’t try to plan my life out. What I thought I would be doing as an “adult” when I graduated high school is SO much different (but better!) now that I am older.
I wish I would’ve known that everything works out the way it’s supposed to for a reason. I’m still telling myself this from time to time, but I’ve seen it in my life more times than I can count now so it’s reassuring when I start to doubt things. 🙂
