Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Good morning, and happy Friday!
Man, did this week go by fast, or what? It likely had to do with having Monday off, and the rest of the week busy. Yesterday I worked from 6:00am to 7:00pm with only a few short breaks in between, but I am definitely not complaining.
1. I just finished Weeds on Netflix last night.
Seasons 1-4? GOOD. Seasons 5-7? Wacky… But still good I guess. Anyway, now I need a new series to watch on Netflix! Already watched/watching include Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and Parks and Rec. Any suggestions?
2. I feel really…healthy.
I was talking to Shane the other day about how I have been sleeping SO well for the past few months. It’s crazy – I’ve never slept well in my life, and here I am sleeping from 9:30 until when my alarm goes off (today it went off way too early, though.) When I thought about it more, I could go on to say that I think I’m the healthiest I’ve been in years – possibly in my whole life! From sleep, to hormonal health, to strength, to a feeling of well being, I feel really, really healthy.
3. I re-stocked on my favorite almond butter:
I was out of almond butter, relying on peanut butter for a few weeks. Then, Vitacost had a buy 1 get 1 half off sale, so I stocked up on my faves – plain almond butter and maple almond butter Let’s see how long they last (PS – you can get $10 off your first Vitacost order by using this link!) Also, I love Vitacost because of their customer service. See how that maple one’s label is a little dark? Well, the seal had broken during shipping (things inflate when traveling to Colorado, a mile above sea level) and some oil had gotten on the container. I let them know, and they’re sending me a replacement jar! Good customer service rocks.
4. Lookie what came in the mail last weeek…
Yep! I’m going to be a certified Spinning Instructor! I start teaching this fall, and am taking my (9 hr – eek!) instructor training next weekend. I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and am finally taking the plunge! I’ve been getting some tips from Lauren, who has taught spin for a couple years, now, too.
5. I started reading the book, Zoo, by James Patterson the other day…
I was flying through the book, riveted by the storyline, albeit it being a bit out there. Last night I noticed I was already 95% through it, thinking, “man, how did that happen??” Come to find out, I only had the SAMPLE of the book on my Kindle. As soon as I reached 100% I got a big ol’ “Continue Reading ZOO, by purchasing here!” Doh.
A few housekeeping items:
-The winner for the GoodPops Giveaway still hasn’t contacted me. If you won, please send me an email yourtrainerpaige@gmail.com
-Have a great weekend! Shane and I might be planning our second 14-er…
Any series suggestions for Netflix?
How’s your sleep?
I’ve been on both sides of the fence, and insomnia or disrupted sleep sucks!
Let me know how spin instructor training goes! It has been one of the certifications I have been looking into and I would love to hear about the experience!

Have you watched Homeland? I love it. Also,Game of Thrones! We also love Master Chef, The Middle and Last Man Standing (David is a huge Tim Allen fan ;))

I’ve tried watching Homeland, but I just couldn’t get into it! I really wanted to, too, because of the rave reviews.
Congrats on the spinning cert! I taught spin for years and absolutely loved it! You are going to have so much fun 🙂
I’ve been sleeping really well too. It likely has to do with school starting back up, and my teaching schedule is much different than it was last year! How cool that you’re doing Spin! I’ve always wanted to try a class, but we don’t have them anywhere around here. In fact, just yesterday I decided that we live in an exercise desert!

Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are my TV obsessions, but I would absolutely recommend Orange is the New Black, as well! I’m about halfway through the season and I don’t want it to end.

Oops, I watched OITNB, too! Looooved it. It gets better, still!
Prison Break! Great show – I loved it.
My sleep goes in waves these days with an infant in the house! When he sleeps great, I sleep great. When he doesn’t, I don’t! 😉 We’ve had some teething going on lately, so sleep hasn’t been the best.
So glad to hear you’re feeling healthy and sleeping well. Isn’t that the best feeling?! 🙂

LOVE James Patterson, I haven’t read that one yet but I’ve read a bunch of his other books. I’ve really wanted to start watching Weeds since I hear good things about it, but hmm some other good shows…oh the following is really good. I just got into that one.
And I’m SO happy to hear you are feeling really healthy! That’s so great Paige! Especially with all you’ve been dealing with, I’m glad you’re feeling better.
Yay to becoming a certified spin instructor! I’ve actually been considering that soon.

The Big C. Can’t beat Laura Linney. Someone suggested Homeland and I’d second that motion as well. Although you can’t go wrong with the original 90210! haha!
Psych and Bones! Both are soo good and both are on Netflix 🙂
Netflix: Definitely Dr Who, and also It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
