Some thoughts and discussions from me.
Good morning! I’m a little late in posting today, and it’s going to be a short one because my family is visiting! Ready for the world’s speediest recap of the weekend we’ve had?
Friday
Arrival—>Mexican food at Comida + margaritas + hanging out on the deck:
Saturday
Boot camp—>Garden of the Gods—> Pike’s Peak Summit via the cog rail + take out barbeque and ribs and beer:
Garden of the Gods (Remember the first time Shane and I visited the Garden of the Gods?)
Look! A (not so) Big Horn Sheep!!
Pike’s Peak looked a little different in November Remember the Pike’s Peak donuts?
Sunday
(After training 4 clients) pack up—>lunch—>arrive at cabin—>hike to Gem Lake
My parents came along with us about a half mile, and then headed back.
About half way up, I found a flat rock, and dedicated this wheel pose mountain picture to my girl, Lauren!
Gem Lake was the very first real hike that Shane and I did in RMNP, and made us fall in love with Colorado. This was my first time back since, and I’m pretty sure he fell in love, too. (My goal is to convince him he needs to live here )
And I leave you, with Shane, the chipmunk maestro:
teheheh
And I’m out! It’s breakfast time, and then we’re headed to Wild Basin to hike up to three waterfalls Have a great Monday!
Looks like an incredible weekend my friend! Chipmunks are so stinkin’ cute, aren’t they! I hope you have a great week!
